The Ultimate City Guide on Liverpool, UK…

I have lived in my city for three years, where I lived in Liverpool during my time as a student.

My city is best described by the five words: lively, friendly, cultural, nightlife, and students.

The most famous thing about my city is its culture. The history and music of The Beatles remain at the forefront of Liverpool’s music scene, with The Cavern pub being a popular place to visit.  For the sporting fan, Liverpool F.C., Everton F.C. and Aintree all stand as famous Sports clubs and racing grounds that are well known for their reputation nationwide.

The best way to explore my city is to walk or by bus, because once you’re in the centre of town, you can walk from A to B incredibly easily.

When my girlfriends come to visit, we go to The Docks whereby we can visit The Pumphouse for food and drink, before visiting The Tate.

Unfortunately, it is also the butt of many a joke as being the cesspit of rural England. But, once you have experienced the many things Swindon has to offer, as well as the obvious easy travel distances to Bath, Oxford, Bristol, Cheltenham and even London, hopefully you would change your mind.

I have lived in my city Swindon for 11 years.

My city is best described by these five words built-up, friendly, diverse, underestimated and central.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun in Oxford…

My name is Shelly and my city is Oxford, England.

I have lived in my city for three years.

My city is best described by these five words history, tradition, architecture, culture, and university.

The most famous thing about my city is the University of Oxford, and the impressive architecture of the historic college buildings, which garnered Oxford its poetic description as the ‘city of dreaming spires’.

The best way to explore my city is by bicycle (get around like the locals do).

When my girlfriends come for a visit, I always take them the tower of St Mary’s church on the High Street first because if you climb the tower’s narrow spiral stone staircase you are treated to a magical view over the whole city.

When I want to learn something new I always go along to one of the university’s many free seminars and lectures.

The most random thing about my city is that the university is the city: the majority of the buildings in the city centre are actually part of the university.
