Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Situated in Uganda’s southwestern corner, the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park covers around 128 square miles (331km2) of the country’s forested terrain. The park’s untouched landscape serves as a home for countless species of flora and fauna.

The national park, established in 1991, is considered pristine enough to have become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As such, it is unsurprising that the region has become a desirable destination for African travelers.
